Scope of application:
5083 aluminum alloy is a high-magnesium alloy with good strength, corrosion resistance and machinability among non-heat-treatable alloys. The surface is beautiful after anodization. Good arc welding performance. The main alloying element in 5083 alloy is magnesium, which has good corrosion resistance and weldability, and medium strength. The Aluminium boat plate thickness:
5083 aluminium alloy plate thickness can be 1mm, 2mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm….110mm. Usually for ocean navigation 3mm aluminium alloy plate is enough, it is anti-rust, if choose 5mm or 6mm, the speed boat will be more heavier, then of course the raw materials increase, so you know the aluminium yacht price will be higher.
